The State of Montana reestablished the Montana Asia Trade Office in Taiwan in October 2021. Located in the Taipei World Trade Center, the office is Montana’s official representation in Taiwan and will be a focal point to expand businesses and investments further into Southeast Asia. The office is headed by Mei Mei Wang, who previously ran Montana’s office in Taipei before it closed in 2012.
The reopened Montana Asia Trade Office in Taiwan will focus on generating new business opportunities and expanding sales and investments across various industries. It will also be responsible for creating opportunities for travel tourism promotion, education, and diplomatic and cultural exchanges between Montana and Taiwan.
