The Montana Board of Housing offers financing options for the development of affordable multifamily rental homes. Board staff monitor all properties during the commitment period, to ensure that those properties comply with federal and state requirements.
Housing Credits
The federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit is available under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Board allocates Montana’s housing tax credits through a competitive process.
