The Montana Board of Housing requires that developers first submit a Pre-Qualification Form in order to proceed to the Pre-app Checklist [Letter of Intent (LOI)] and/or a Full Application. Please look below for further instructions.

Updated submission process as of Feb. 4, 2025
- For Tax Credit Pre-app Checklist (LOI) and Full Applications an Intake Form must be completed for 9% and 4% deals. This can be found at our new platform. Please use link below and either log in if you already have an account or create one.

- Contact staff at dochdmf@mt.gov for access to the platform to submit the 10% certification and 8609 certification.
