Community Planning Platform

Welcome to the Community Planning Platform. This site was developed by the Montana Department of Commerce to provide information resources to planners within the State of Montana.

The site is divided into three major sections: Community Profiles, Land Use Planning Tools and Planning Documents. The Community Profiles section includes key data sets and projections that are necessary for planning. The Land Use Planning Tools section provides a variety of links and applications helpful for land use planning. The Planning Documents section provides resources specific to planning documents including best practices, project templates and planning tools. The CPP site is intended to be interactive with new content added from private planners as well as state / local / tribal governments. Please sign up for notifications on updates and new features.
